Backups & recovery

The Backup screen snapshots the app's configuration — controls, flags, segments, scheduled changes, and rules — so you can restore into the same app or a Test environment. Read the on-page notes carefully:

• The export bundles configuration and content that already appears in your dashboard.
• Do not assume the export is safe to share externally. Treat it as internal until you have reviewed a sample yourself — future fields may include integration configuration.
• Runtime data (devices, events, impressions) is not part of a Backup export.

Steps

• 1. Take a snapshot before every risky change.
• 2. Restore into a Test environment first and verify with a real device.
• 3. Restore into Production only after the Test restore is verified.
